Anyone else see the trailer for LOD returning next year? I love it. I love Adrian too. There's just something about him....

The return key is not working for me either - along with everyone else tonight apparently. Meant to add that I've seen series 1-3 on Netflix, but apparently there's a season 4? Where can I see that?

I don't care that Adrian Dunbar is not a nice person, because it's Ted Hastings that I ♥️ anyway

There's got to be more to Ted's back story in the next series - wasn't there something about him being in debt/separated from his wife/booking a cruise he couldn't afford in one of the previous series, but his personal life wasn't really elaborated on?

I refuse to believe Ted is anything other than a straight up copper who will hunt down the bad guys at any cost. If he's not whiter than white I don't think I'll ever get over it

JeSuis, yes, I remember all that. I think he has a dubious past for all those reasons, but I also think that although we're being led to think he's H, he isn't (it seems a bit obvious).

Think there is a fair chance that iPlayer will load up series 4 box set in the run up to series 5, like they did with The Bridge

I did a bit of excited hyperventilation the other night when they trailed it after Bodyguard but then they said it wasn't on til 2019. Way to torture us BBC!

Ted has to be the good guy through and through or we'll all be up in arms!

God I love this program. I started on series 4 last year then went back and binge watched them all on iPlayer. Best thing I've ever seen on TV I think, even with the increasingly daft plots!

I still haven't seen the Thandie Newton series and I've been mildly spoiled by interviews she's done

I'm pretty sure, like other people have said, that the fourth season will be either on Netflix or iPlayer in good time for everyone to catch up. It'll have to be, otherwise viewers simply wouldn't be able to make sense of the longer narrative arc.

Dunbar has done some interviews about his drinking and unresolved areas of damage. He certainly sounds like a work in progress. Disappointing, if he's not very nice, but only because I want Ted to be real...

If Ted turns out to be a baddie then I don't see any point in carrying on with life tbh.

I've just introduced my husband to LOD. Stuck for something to watch I started watching it again from the beginning and he got hooked too.
We've binge watched 1-3 over a few days and will start on 4 tonight.

Can't wait for S5, that trailer is far too short!
