But why on so late Ds's would love it!
Some of the characters - are straight out of Phoenix nights. That Husband and Wife Illusion Act - Jennesis = brilliant!

Oh I missed it again!

When is it on next?

Enid · 10/06/2007 22:07

are you taking the piss

I saw the baton twirling boy last night

feck me

lyrasdaemon · 10/06/2007 22:08

My 13 year-old neighbour went on it - I think he went to the Manchester audition - not sure how far he got though. He's been dancing since he was 6 and goes busking in Manchester city centre almost every week.

slalomsuki · 11/06/2007 11:55

The girl with the angle grinder and metal cod piece had me in hysterics last night. I couldn't believe that someone would have done this and then simon and piers had a conversation about how it turned them on.

She got through to the next round if you missed it!!!!

DeviousDaffodil · 11/06/2007 20:19

The guy with the monkey cracked me up on Saturday, and the boy singing last night had me in tears. On again tonight.

mytwopenceworth · 11/06/2007 21:05

i loved the monkey!

anyone watching now - did they just say tit??

multitasker · 11/06/2007 21:15

I thought the impressionist and the guy from Cardiff I think who sang Nessum Dorma were unbelievable - and you are right - on too late, the dc would love it.

Does anyone remember Opportunity Knocks - or am I a dinosaurThat kind of all round entertaining talent show with real people who have a great talent and a modicum of modesty is sadly under-rated.

TwoIfBySea · 11/06/2007 21:29

Curse the lot of you!

I am watching after reading this thread and that old boy dancer nearly had me crying!

Swines, now I am going to have to watch this!

(Anyone think the KitKat Dolls are better than the Pussycat Dolls they were copying?)

2shoes · 11/06/2007 21:53

MAD THEY ARE ALL MAD

Nymphadora · 11/06/2007 21:57

OMG that little girl

IlanaK · 11/06/2007 22:03

I was in floods of tears with that little girl singing. Unbelievable.

Nymphadora · 11/06/2007 22:13

THought she was going to be a pfb type Simon Cowell didn't know what to do did he

MaureenMLove · 11/06/2007 22:17

That little girl was absolutely adorable! Lots of tears here too!

fryalot · 11/06/2007 22:18

I don't watch it, dd1 had it on, but that little girl made me stop what I was doing and watch her.

That little girl was fantastic, such a voice coming out of a wee girl.

I saw a couple of clips of the American one and there was a girl on there, age about 11 and she had a powerful voice on her too.

As long as they aren't these awful stage school kids!

tigermoth · 11/06/2007 22:26

That little girl was amazing. I hope she has lots of protective people around her with a talent like that. She looked so vulnerable and is so young!

Agree that this programme is one of the best I've seen on TV for ages. I am hooked.

Rorytigger · 12/06/2007 13:21

Phew! Glad I'm not the only addict! Both DH and I are loving this show. The people who are getting through are good but what on earth are some of the other poor deluded souls thinking about! It must beawful to have the audience shout off off off to you!

MummyPenguin · 12/06/2007 14:11

I thought this programme was going to be terrible, but am loving it too. The little girl was sweet, and very good singer, but it didn't 'get me' like some of you. The one that did, was the 14 year old boy who sang 'Unchained Melody' he was on at the weekend. One of my favourite songs, and he did a great version. Beautiful boy too, had one of those really open sunny smiley faces. Love the monkey! Agree about timing, poor DC roar when we send them to bed. My two DS's were wetting themselves laughing at the monkey.

Am finding Simon Cowell v. sexy this time round.

DeviousDaffodil · 13/06/2007 20:08

The middle aged guy who did the Kylie tribute last night. WTF?!!!
The guy who sang at the end with the guitar? BEt it wasn't just me crying!

pointydog · 13/06/2007 20:23

My 10 yr old was var proud of a fancy side skip she did out of the bath last night.

I told her she should be on Britain's Most Talented with talent like that.

DeviousDaffodil · 13/06/2007 20:25

Ds1 wants to go on and burp the alphabet!

OP posts:
flibbertyjibbet · 13/06/2007 20:53

I cried at the guy with the guitar too!
Unfortunately tonight it clashes with the Apprentice final, but I think its on for a few more nights in succession.
In fact I might break my own rule on these types of shows and phone in for a vote for guitar man when the time comes!

peachygirl · 13/06/2007 20:57

we're watching it in our house too, we don't normally watch this sort of thing but I'm hooked!

MummyPenguin · 14/06/2007 10:13

LOL at daffodils's DS!! Nice thought, I like that!

Guitar man was great wasn't he? And quite fanciable too.

Kylie man was quite disturbing. Perhaps that should be disturbed.
