Is anyone else watching this? I wonder whether the school kids were actually a bit frightened when he made them chuck a globe around the classroom.

Not because of the globe but in case they mentioned a country that NK don’t like / said something stupid.

Caught the end of it and wished i’d Seen more. Fascinating what I did see.

CruCru · 20/09/2018 23:17

You can probably watch it on catch up.

Fascinating to see how they lived, but obviously we were only allowed to see what they wanted us to see. That dancing they did on May day was.....different.

I really enjoyed it. I watched it on catch up. Agree that what they've been allowed to film and see has been closely controlled. Michael said so himself.

Looking forward to the next episode.

Watching this now. Fascinating. Has anyone else noticed the limited colour palette? From people's clothes to the buildings.

Squeegle · 22/09/2018 21:44

It was great, really interesting

Deathraystare · 23/09/2018 08:12

Yes I did enjoy it. Obvs they can only film so much but actually it is what is not said/seen.

I am actually wondering what happens when this one dies or is got rid of. I am trying to imagine how a whole nation would cope with that. Much different from any where else.

Have recorded, looking forward to watching it. I've been a bit obsessed with how NK operates since reading Nothing to Envy.
