If we were kind we could say that she was right there but the incident was of so little impact that she didn't even register it and her 'I wasn't there' referred to the horrendous punching Roxanne had allegedly endured. However, I'm wondering just how much they were told inside the house and how Ryan was handled. He was more calm and measured than we've ever seen and if his answers were in fact off the cuff then he's a much deeper character than he came across as. If he was talked through it all in the house though, that's not a bad thing as to leave it all festering until he came out, only for it to hit him without decent preparation would be foolhardy, irresponsible and cruel.
Speaking of Roxanne, apparently she's also filmed Celebrity Coach Trip, which will be shown next year some time. So this year she's had a song, a co presenter job on local radio, Coach Trip, The Island, The Ghost Hunting and CBB. I'm sure she'd convinced herself that Emmerdale would ask her back, even though they've said there have never been any plans for that.
