Just caught up on Ep 1 & 2 & also hooked, what are your theories so far then?

I have watched the first two episodes and love it. I think she was a spy or something. No other theories so far.

I am hooked already.

I think she clearly was involved in a movement against the guy who The daughter was protesting against. Her marriage in the UK was a front to cover up her true status as a resident out there.
I think the other husband knows more than he's letting on to Jon Simm. I think that's why he was in the police, the dodgy guy found out what his wife was up to so planted a story about him in the pressed he was sacked. I think that's why she was preparing to leave him with the daughter as he switched sides. I also don't believe he didn't know about Jon Simms husband all along.

Another good ITV mystery drama, they're so good at them recently.

My theory is she knew what her dirty cop hubby was doing, years ago but was blackmailed/ threatened into silence by the existence of her daughter.
The fact she had hidden 2 new passports from him for just her & the daughter meant she was going to flee, (possibly to her true love in England?)
Not sure yet how the big capitalist business man fits in but he clearly has spies everywhere & the police in his pocket.

Disclaimer most of my theories were wrong on the Bodyguard 😁

Watched the first 3 episodes too. It's good. ITV are definitely getting better at drama.
