What on earth to people do with so much cake! They must cost £1000's

Bumping this cos I can't find another thread about it! Who is watching it? I want to talk about it

Is it a new series? I've seen a few of the episodes on All4. I bloody love cake. They have some amazing designs, I always vow to make the family birthday cakes when I watch this but I never seem to get that far!

It's series 3, I think it started in August.

They look amazing but loads of the 'cake' is made of rice krispies and marshmallow (which sets hard so can't be eaten) or cake pop mix and there is so much fondant I have no idea how anyone eats it.

And why doesn't anyone wear a hair net?

They must cost hundreds/thousands but the work that goes into them is something else! They look so good.

One of them only seems to do cakes for her friends and family.

No one else can afford them 😂

Some of the cakes look so dry as well and such a mess before they're covered in ganache and fondant I've no idea how they're sliced and eaten.

Has anyone ordered one of these types of cakes and can tell us about it? Like size/cost/did it taste nice etc
