Anyone watching? I remember this so clearly.

I’m watching. Was only a small child when it happened. My partners from Belfast so it’s always interesting hearing his perspective about these types of things.

Namechangeforhair · 03/09/2018 21:28

I was 15. God it's so sad.

I'm watching - live in Warrington.

Yoksha · 03/09/2018 21:30

OMG! She's just walked into the auditorium. What a show of solidarity.

I remember Warrington. Still haunts me. I live in the NW.

Cherrypie32 · 03/09/2018 21:35

Harrowing doesn’t come close.

DaffoDeffo · 03/09/2018 21:36

I remember it so clearly

I don't often cry but I am in tears :(

Elderflower14 · 03/09/2018 21:37

I'm recording to watch tomorrow...

Yoksha · 03/09/2018 21:42

I'm welled up. I can't remember in a long time something so powerful.

Namechangeforhair · 03/09/2018 21:47

Hadn't realised he was covered in bandages like that. They never saw his face again. My God.

DaffoDeffo · 03/09/2018 21:48

the image of him running away and straight into the explosion :( god almighty. And on mother's day

Namechangeforhair · 03/09/2018 21:51

It's just evil.

I was fairly old when this happened. didn't know it but wasn't far off having kids myself. I do remember the utter horror of this bomb - I know there were a lot of bombs - but this one, with the children being targeted on mother's day, always stuck in my mind

DaffoDeffo · 03/09/2018 22:04

Anna Maxwell Martin has been brilliant :(

TheGirlOnTheLanding · 03/09/2018 22:06

Utterly heartbreaking. Wendy and Colin Parry were on Women’s Hour on R4 this morning - a remarkable couple who have taken this personal tragedy and done a huge amount of good. Well worth a listen on iPlayer.

muminmanchester · 03/09/2018 22:13

Unbearably sad. I grew up in Warrington. I was 7 when the bombing happened; I remember it so clearly and the impact is still clearly felt and remembered in town.

I've met Colin Parry a handful of times. He is an incredible force of strength.

shhhgobacktosleep · 03/09/2018 22:21

The bombing in Warrington happened on my wedding day. I had lived in NI and had lots of Irish family and friends. When the news broke we were stunned. It’s a difficult but worthwhile watch.

millimat · 03/09/2018 22:30

Brilliant.

CoolCarrie · 03/09/2018 22:32

That was heartbreaking, those beautiful boys. Excellent

Namechangeforhair · 03/09/2018 22:40

Very well done.

Really powerful TV - happy to pay my licence fee for this alone.

Meesh77 · 04/09/2018 00:14

That was a tough watch.

ExBbqQueen · 05/09/2018 21:53

Powerful. Heartbreaking.

Shows how far the peace process has come. I pray Brexit doesn’t affect the peace.

Chuggachuggatoottoot · 11/09/2018 13:00

Just watched this. Very well done to all involved. Heartbreaking.
