Springwatch - do you fancy Simon?

I do but dh is convinced he is gay.
Does anyone know this?

Oh I could watch Simon for ever. He's fantastic.
Would love to be on Isla with him this month rather than here.

No idea about the gay bit though.

Never mind my dh is very cuddly, and he bought new binoculars today, and we're off up to Mull in 6 weeks' time - can't wait!

I don't think Simon is gay ! He has a partner - Marguerite Smits Van Oyen - who is also a wildlife film-maker/producer. She was introduced to us in the original film about raising the orphaned cheetah cubs, not the recent one about Toki. I think I read an article recently saying that they have a child together, but Simon also has 3(?) from a previous marriage. Of course, I can't find anything about that on Google today to corroborate it !

He used to be my penfriend when I was 5! We met on holiday and wrote to each other for about a year!! My (very small) claim to fame.

It confirms that he and fiancee Marguerite have a daughter Savannah born last summer and that he has 3 children from a previous marriage - Alexander (then 20), Romy (then 17) and Greer who was 11 in Sept 2006.

Don't fancy Simon, but I must admit to being quite entertained by 'nature Chris' from CBeebies Springwatch
