Has anyone watched the extraordinary rituals programme on bbc?

I find things like this utterly fascinating.

I was going to watch it - would you recommend?

Was it a bit woo?

No not woo at all. Just the way different cultures celebrate birth, death, marriage, coming of age etc.

It’s probably a bit of a light touch and a bit sensationalist but not on a channel 4 scale!

I find it really interesting how ancient traditions work alongside modern life.

Fascinating wasn't it. I need to watch the third episide on iPlayer but would definitely recommend if you like learning about different cultures - so interesting.

I really enjoyed it and then saw Grayson Perry with rituals immediately afterwards on Channel 4!

On the BBC programme, those boys in Gaza were heartbreaking.

Caught the second episode by accident and was entranced. Brilliant programme.
