Ellis is fine but Jessie is a terrible actress. And as viewers we care little about her and even less about her off screen son.

Think I'm going to have nightmares with Rebecca appearing like that. Glad it's the end of the storyline but sad we had to lose Gerry and Lachlan because of it.

Is Mrs Sykes the same grumpy nurse that was looking after Sarah a couple of weeks ago?

Agree Jessie is a terrible actress. Last night was just woeful!

They bring in new characters and then give them big storylines before we’ve got attached to them, before we care enough about them. They need to do more to establish the character first before giving them stories were supposed to be interested in. I could easily snooze through all the Jessie scenes and it would take nothing from the rest of the show.

Jessie's acting consists of running out a room whenever things get difficult. Ellis is already more established in his couple of weeks than Jessie is after a few months.

I'm sure we haven't seen the last of Lachlan.

That was ridiculous , why would she go there first of all places? They could have played that so much better.

Another one here not feeling the love for Jessie, I do like Ellis though.

redshoeblueshoe I thought that about Jessie - primary head to head of a secondary with a sixth form - highly unlikely. Soaps have form for that though. I think Brian Packham in Corrie was a colleague of John Stapes when he taught at Weatherfield High but then popped up again as Head of Bessie Street Primary. Often Doctors are also multi disciplinary and work from GP surgery and the hospital etc

I didn't really understand why the police and Robert kept asking Lachlan where the body was.

The police said the blood was fresh and Lachlan has been locked up.

So...Jessie's "shocking secret"/"Big twist" is that she has a son in the big house for assault - not exactly earth shattering and surely (as someone else has already said) even less so for Marlon - given the Dingle clan's form. I feel I have been conned.

What are the chances..? eh? of Rebecca floating into the graveyard at just that particular time - how often does Robert usually visit graves?

That is Jessie's big secret (missed yesterday's episode)?? She has a child in jail? That is ridiculous. Surely must be more to it than that!! I vaguely wondered if the secret was that she is related to the friend Belle accidentally killed years, I can't remember her name, and she had come back for revenge.

I saw the pics and headlines online today of "Rebecca is alive" in a graveyard dressed in white and thought it was a windup.

Rebecca returning is probably bittersweet for Aaron. Means Robert can stop stressing but she's a constant reminder to him of Roberts betrayal.
Can't wait for Ross to see her!

I love that Rebecca has a really juicy role to get her acting fine tuned after all the criticism she received pre brain injury.

How creepy was that tonight when she saw all the Lachlans in the hospital!

As for Jessie, get a grip woman. How can she be a head teacher in charge of hundreds of youngsters' futures when she clearly turns a blind eye to her criminal son and believes he's completely innocent. I feel so sorry for Ellis when Jessie refused to acknowledge that Billy and his mates used to relentlessly bully Ellis. No wonder their relationship is in tatters.

I'm cross Robert wouldn't let Ross see her, he could have at least stuck his head in and said I love u and let's make babies..talk to u in a few days about it peace out.

I hope they stop this awful storyline with Ross now that Rebecca is back. I know it's somewhat believable - his mum killed his dad and brother then his auntie killed his mum. The love of his life died and he got acid thrown in his face so yeah, he's been busy and I understand that he would turn to drugs but it's not nice to watch!

Agree Minor, what they are doing with Ross is not good to watch, especially as he was getting his life back on track and even though he's been a bad boy there's never been any indication that he's had anything to do with drugs.

Slowly catching up with episodes. Robert was going on about his various mothers, asking Diane to walk him down the aisle as she's been a mum to him for so long and then visiting Sarah's grave. No mention of his biological mum though - wouldn't she be buried in the same graveyard as Sarah??

I thought Sarah was Robert's biological mum? Wasn't that why Andy and Robert fell out for years because Andy killed Robert's mum?

Robert's bio mum (Jack's first wife) died when he was very young. Early 80s I think and before my time:) Sarah was actually his step-mum, Andy's adoptive mum and Victoria's biological mum.
