Has anyone watched this on channel 4 on demand? A good watch about someone having to tell his family that he wasn't going to enter into an arranged marriage.

Loved it but also found it very sad as my ex DP was Sikh and it was quite close to home!

I only watched it after seeing an advert on something I had recorded. The mental health aspect was quite sad.

I'm going to watch this. My best friend from school had to flee because of her family trying to force her into marriage.

Her family were absolutely horrific to her.

I remember seeing this first time around. He came across as a bit 'flash' and I think had not been a 'dutiful' son up to then. Was sad about the mental health, yes.

Interesting. I read the book recently after a recommendation on here. I enjoyed it to start with but didn't actually quite finish it as found it a bit slow and repetitive. Will give the film a try.
