Anyone else just watched this? Bloody hell! I know it's the formula that one spouse wants it, the other doesn't, but the wife in this episode came across as almost chilling she was so adamant!

She managed to persuade the man in the end (in fairness, financially, at least, they would be better off - though his job would be a demotion) but the poor child held up the card for the UK and his parents seemed utterly oblivious at how crushed he was.

Do they ever actually move though do you think? Or is it like Place in the Sun and at the end the voiceover goes 'on returning to the UK, the Hudsons decided not to go ahead with the purchase of the dream home in Malaga after all'

The Facebook page did good catch ups of where the families ended up.

Yes of course they move! I’m in Oz and a friend of mine was on it, they even did a follow up show on her family.Its absolutely hilarious, she says there is a LOT of editing, but it’s a pretty fair representation.

I've only seen it from the second house which the woman said was 'basic'
