If anyone watched it last night, was it me or did Peter Jones look like he'd been sleeping rough? Unkempt hair, 5 o'clock shadow, puffy eyes ... I have big plans for him as a future husband, may need to reconsider

Yes I thought so too!! I asked my dh if he thought like he had lost weight...there was something different about him!

I commented on this to DP! Thought the stubble didn't help - he looked hungover

Frankly if you aren't seeing his wife of over 20 years and their 5 children as a stumbling block, I can't imagine a bit of 5 o'clock shadow is going to put you off.

My DH said he looked like he would offer you a swig on his Buckfast.

He gives people stick for their unkempt appearance when they appear in the Den, yet he looked a mess last night. Plus, they don’t change their appearance during the series for continuity reasons so he will look like that for the whole series. He got shirty when the guy stood there with his hands in his pockets last night, but at least the guy looked like he hadn’t slept in a skip.

Deborah Meaden seems to have aged a fair bit in the break between two series too.

I thought he was below par on his usual grooming standards.

I never watch but clicked on this thread by accident. I've just had to look on iplayer and agree that he looks a bloody mess! Why didn't he at least have a shave?

Deborah Meade’s- funny that, woman looks older as she ages. At least she didn’t succumb to making herself look ridiculous!

I thought he was ill, looked like he had a heavy cold or getting over one.
