I’ve seen BBC’s The Missing, and Hidden. ITV I have seen Unforgotten and Whitechapel. I’m quite enjoying these types of programmes but I want to find some more to watch! Jordskott is a no because I can’t stand Subtitles.

TIA!

Happy Valley, Shetland, Cormoran Strike are the ones I’ve really enjoyed lately.

MrsJayy · 12/08/2018 10:01

It was on a couple of years ago i just rewatched it River is brilliant it has Nicola Walker and Stellan Stangard (spelling) so a bit Scandi but in English 😁

Line of Duty is tensewe loved it

They both should be on iplayer.

I stopped watching Keeping Faith it was so irritating that Ino longer cared about her .

LaMainDeFatima · 12/08/2018 10:09

Wallander (the English version if you don’t like subtitles )
I think The Tunnel was in English

SubtitlesOn · 12/08/2018 10:09

Yes totally agree

Happy Valley
Strike

I get what you mean about keeping faith but am going to stick it out to the bitter end

AveABanana · 12/08/2018 10:09

Line of Duty
Hinterland - brilliant.
The old Prime Suspects are on Netflix
Endeavour is very good. Wasn't much into Morse and not Lewis at all but Endeavour is great.

fussychica · 12/08/2018 10:26

Vexed one of my all time favourites, a bit different from your average cop show.

fussychica · 12/08/2018 10:31

Just thought of another, Case Sensitive with Darren Boyd and Olivia Williams.

SpinMill · 12/08/2018 10:36

Another for Happy Valley, also Safe on Netflix, Harlen Coben's The Five was on Sky, don't know if you'd find it now but I really enjoyed it.

PrincessMargaret · 12/08/2018 10:41

It is her lying down that annoyedme good luck with sticking with it.

Vera is brilliant you will get repeats on Itv3

SubtitlesOn · 12/08/2018 12:52

That is funny, I said to DH that the director does seem to like actors lying down

Interestingly we were watching Notorious yesterday on Talking Pictures, and Hitchcock did amazing camera angles with a lying down actor, really brilliant and it just made us realise that keeping fruity director was missing a great "trick"

midsomermurderess · 12/08/2018 13:49

Unforgotten is excellent. and I'm a big fan of Vera too.

Guienne · 12/08/2018 14:00

Morse, Lewis and Endeavour.

crisscrosscranky · 12/08/2018 14:27

We've recently discovered Vera and have watched five series in a month!Blush

StringandGlitter · 12/08/2018 14:37

Endeavour is really good.

Flamingo19 · 12/08/2018 15:00

Unforgotten has definitely been my favourite so far. I now suddenly quite fancy myself as a detective in the met police Grin
