Anyone watching this? This guy works 3 days per week and earns £750 per month. His wife doesn't work. I couldn't understand why he couldn't work 5 days per month and why his wife couldn't work at least part-time.

He mentioned when interviewed his salary is topped up with benefits. The wife is at home to look after the boys!!!!

It is bloody laughable the dad could work longsr hours and the woman could work whilst the kids are at school! JOKE

Yes, I know his salary is topped up, but who the hell can survive on 3 days work anyway? They have a family of five surviving on a .5 salary.

I would rather they showed her a family where both parents worked and paid for childcare.

There are more part time jobs than full time where I grew up (semi rural & house prices on a par with London) so most families have 2jobs (or more) each. Wonder why that's not their option? Maybe it's such low pay they are better off with benefits top up.

It may be that because it said he earns £700 and tax credits are about the same.
