Oh wow, the work GOSH did to replace that boy's ear was incredible! Did anyone see it?

Yes, it was amazing - from a rib! POG was great, as usual. He has a real knack with people.

HollowTalk · 08/08/2018 20:39

He really does, doesn't he? I missed the beginning - why did the boy need an ear?

It's so emotional but in a really brilliant way.

He had a condition where he was born without a proper ear, and had been bullied a lot because of it Sad

Poor boy. Kids can be so cruel. It looked fantastic after the op.

Loved this. POG is my personal National Treasure. I still miss his C4 program at tea time.
I got a bit emotional at times.

EachandEveryone · 09/08/2018 19:23

Have you read his books?

CoolCarrie · 09/08/2018 20:16

His books are brilliant, especially the first one.

CoolCarrie · 09/08/2018 20:19

It’s Calléd “At My Mother’s Knee And Orher Low Joints” it’s a real tonic.
I tried to read bits out to my dh when I first read it, but could speak for laughing at bits.

CoolCarrie · 09/08/2018 20:21

OTHER that should read.

LARLARLAND · 09/08/2018 20:23

I haven’t seen this but I agree that POG is wonderful. I love listening to his show on Radio 2 on Sundays.

Loonoon · 10/08/2018 12:02

I’m not normally a Paul O’G fan but I loved him in that show. He was great with everyone and seemed genuinely caring.
