Has anyone seen this Storyville documentary about Phillip and his 7 wives on bbc iplayer?
It's made me feel very uncomfortable and worried for the wives and children.

What do you reckon to the weird mother in law in the basement situation? What was that all about?

I couldn't get the matriarch situation at all, maybe to keep all the others equal? I felt sick watching it and I could have cried for the older 5th wife.
All I could see was emotional abuse, where is social services in these situations? (Not necessarily because of polygamy but because of the emotional power and mind games)
