Prime Suspect

Anyone else been watching Prime Suspect on Netflix? I saw the last 2 or 3 when they were on terrestrial TV but had never seen the earlier ones. Helen Mirren is amazing and the stories generally good (think the best one was Series 6 about the murder of the Bosnian girls). I have been addicted for the last 7 days and now have nothing to watch!!

Watching it now! Love watching them all again and spotting actors who are now famous. Seventeen year old dd also loving them.

Yes - cannot believe Ralph Fiennes and Tom Wilkinson (Oscar winner!) were in first one!

The sexism and appalling attitudes of her colleagues towards her as a woman boss at the start were horrendous.

One of my favourite programmes of all time. It's brilliantly scripted, acted and directed. I think we are really missing gripping, intelligent drama these days.

I'm in my 30s so the sexism/racism etc is like another world!
