I love Aussie drama. (Wanted, The Heart Guy).
I've decided it but will probably not get round to it for a while.

84CharingCrossRoad · 19/07/2018 17:52

I gave up on The Heart Guy...

Hi, I watched it last night and really enjoyed it, it was Forever, meets Quincy MD meets Dexter!

woolythoughts · 30/07/2018 10:49

I liked it - but then I like a lot of stuff that generally gets criticised.

Loved Forever which got canned.

Its easy to watch and doesn't require much thought which suits me.

And Ioan Gruffudd gets his top off which is no bad thing

TurquoiseButterfly19 · 31/07/2018 09:20

Love IG (were both Welsh too!) but I gave up on Harrow. And The Heart Guy.

mummytoc · 04/08/2018 23:11

As a previous poster says, it’s a cross between forever and dexter which I loved, although not keen on the police woman romance... just doesn’t seem believable to me?

MattLeBlancVest · 06/08/2018 04:37

I quite like this.

Watching it because of Forever. Which I adored.

The daughter bugs me a bit. She doesn't seem overly believable. I suppose we will find out more later in the series about her.

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/08/2018 14:23

I’m watching and enjoying

Easy drama but with a twist

Xenadog · 10/08/2018 19:41

It so reminds me of Quincy. I really like this. Just wondering what’s actually happened with his daughter for her to go so much of the rails.
IG is quite easy on the eye as well, isn’t he?

DrCoconut · 10/08/2018 19:49

@Xenadog I've watched everything with IG in for the past 20 years or so. I think he's been an actor from a really young age so has always been around but I noticed him let's say around then.

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/08/2018 15:31

The folder he stole and burnt

Is that the man he killed who had the metal in this body

Hoppinggreen · 14/08/2018 15:32

I tried to watch it but with the exception of IG the acting was too bad

BlessedBeTheFruitCake · 15/08/2018 07:59

I watched the first episode, thought it was a bit meh - until the end Shock
Definitely going to stick with it now.

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/08/2018 17:21

I like it

Easy drama /murder and Intrigue

Tho the blonde wife of the dead man he killed

She said something about being married to him and how she knows something is going on when police ask questions

So did she divorce him years ago and then he married the mum of his child

And she married the dead bloke

As she said she wanted a death certificate so she could claim on life insurgace etx

Or have I got confused

RandomChitchat · 27/08/2018 21:58

I'm really enjoying it, loved Forever and was gutted when they cancelled it. This is a little darker than that though.
Blondes I think they were married then she divorced him and married the now dead policeman. I'm assuming that as well as the gambling, the dead husband is also the reason the daughter is so jumpy.

MyFriendFlicker · 28/08/2018 10:55

I've now watched a episodes and love it. Never seen Forever what's it about?

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/08/2018 19:46

@random. That makes more sense

Brain couldn’t work it out —I work nights so brain dead—

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/08/2018 19:47
  • -can’t even cross out - -

So why did Harrow kill his ex wife’s hubby

Was he a bad man /abuse his daughter

goteam · 28/08/2018 19:56

This sounds great. What channel? Is it on catchup?

RandomChitchat · 28/08/2018 21:33

MyFriendFlicker Forever was a series about a medical examiner who was immortal and had lived various lives since the 17th/18th century. He used what had learnt over the years to solve crimes and it had flashbacks from his past.
He was trying to discover why he was immortal, how to end his immortality, also he wanted to find out what had happened to his wife who had met in WW2.
It had a good supporting cast, female detective he worked with (with a dead husband back story), younger assistant pathologist, Lorraine Toussaint as the police chief and Judd Hirsch who was fab as IG's son, who I think had been adopted after being found at a concentration camp but was aging and now appeared a lot older than his dad.
It was fab, v disappointing when it was cancelled can you tell how much I loved it?

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/08/2018 22:51

ITS on alibi

Yes I watched Forever tho did get bored of it

BlessedBeTheFruitCake · 15/09/2018 11:30

Enjoyed this series, hope there's a season 2 bit of a cliffhanger of an ending!

drigon · 20/09/2018 20:46

Sorry, a little off topic here, but also loved Forever and very disappointed when it was cancelled in mid air, so to speak. Loved Judd Hirsch as the son too. Also loved watching him in Taxi when I was a kid.
