I really enjoyed The Sinner, or Safe. I like thrillers.

Slartybartfast · 18/07/2018 07:50

Seen Safe, that was good

Magical Miss Maisie? I think I've got the name wrong but it's a fab period drama about a woman who wants to do stand up in 50s New York.

The Hour is really good, in a Madmenish way, but it's on Amazon Prime.

Was going to suggest "Halt and Catch Fire", but it's on Prime if you have that as well as Netflix. As Madmen was to the history of advertising, Halt & Catch Fire is to the development of the web. The female leads are very strong and ample replacement for Peggy and Joan. The gorgeous Lee Pace provides the Jon Hamm fix. It's also a slow burn that goes through the decades like Madmen.

Better call Saul is brilliant. I liked it as much as breaking bad perhaps even more.
