The thing about Alex is that he's not unattractive, he's just got absolutely no game whatsoever. And quite frankly the kind of woman who'd appreciate him are so unlikely to ever go into the villa.

I know Josh is a dick, but actually him and Kaz are a much better couple than he and Georgia were. She'd be doing well to accept this and wish them well. I think the reason people like Laura is she's older and much more reasoned in her responses.

I also liked it when Georgia was talking to her and she was very diplomatic "yes, loyal, hmm" when really she must have been wanting to scream. I absolutely loved that she refused to let Georgia off the hook. What do you want me to say? Do what you have to do.

And I really really loved that Jack2 came straight back and smooched her. Hopefully he's smart and will realise he's onto a vote winner with her (as he's been on the outside watching for a while, unlike Wes).

Where is georgias accent from? She sounds northern but then says 'villarrrhh' for villa, 'eachovarrr' for each other, 'ban tarr' etc kind of like a London gangster or something

I said this upthread - am interested to know because my friend is from Hinckley in the Midlands and her accent is so exactly like Georgia's it's bizarre! She must be from somewhere round there.

Oh I just looked it up - she is from York But because she has been down in London for a while apparently that's why her accent is so mixed.

Maybe Hinckley is exactly equidistant between London and York or something? 😂

Do they cook/make all their own food? I'm so intrigued how that works!

I did agree with Dani about her motives for going in, knowing her ex was there. And also many of the guys wouldn't go for a (now) friend's ex, which Wes confirmed on last night's show.

Unique1986 .... actually you might be right there. Not necessarily bc of the touchy feely thing, I've notice Josh is quite tactile. But guys with no game at all, sometimes they do turn out to be closeted.

I’m just saying he’s a fish out of water. He’s tried to be something he isn’t to fit in. It didn’t work. He looked like an idiot. He’s coming across a bit better now. He might well be socially awkward, but so are lots of people. When you’re out of your comfort zone, unless you are supremely self-confident, people either withdraw, or try to fit in by copying others. Yes he shouldn’t be there. He’s not deserving of your vitriol, however.

I agree about professional good looking women not touching him.

Why would a female doctor or lawyer go for him? When they could go for anyone else.

Why does Georgia constantly talk over people and not let them speak, it's super annoying. She even says things like stop talking when Wes tried to say he wants to pick Megan. Why does Georgia care who Wes picks She didn't let Josh explain himself either.

@unique1986 there are lots of other professions too.
DH and I know someone who has worked with him at his previous hospital. They say he is very different in the real world to how he’s been on LI. (Equally we know another islander who lives locally who is coming across much better on there than in real life.)

Also in the preview for tonight's episode she's shouting at Ellie to shut up. Wtf let people say their piece Georgia you might learn something.

So agree. I actually agreed with what she was saying but her delivery was really annoying.

I think Georgia is just showing her true colours, I didn't warm to her when she first came in, I agree with londonista josh and Kaz make a better couple.
I did start to like Georgia for a while but unless I'm wrong, Laura asked her who she was going to pick and she said Jack2, so it would have been interesting to see if she would have told her off her own bat.
I didn't think Laura was too bad as I'm sure she just thought the girls don't give a shit about her.

In normal circumstances a male doctors would attract female doctors. I think if he were able to he wouldn’t be here. If he went for nurses he would just patronise them as he has done all the women in the house. He’s a fish out of water anywhere, actually.

Georgia does not sound Yorkshire to me either.
I'd say maybe a Cheshire accent? But we've weird London-y bits put in as well which sound a bit put on. I dunno.

I do believe if a guy is really kind and down to earth they wouldn't care what their partner did for a living.
So many guys are arrogant and want independent successful women.
