I think Alex is quite droll. And I do think there is someone out there for him. But she's probably a nerdy girl and all the girls they put in there are pure thick. Even the educated ones just dumb themselves down and look at him like he's talking a different language.

Oh poor Alex 1. I do really like him. He's totally come on the wrong show to find love, I think this is why he sometimes comes across badly. He's trying too hard to be something he isn't. However, if he wanted to find publicity then he went on the right show.

Totally agree about how boring it looks. They spend longer getting glammed up than anything else. I get that they are trying to be responsible about drunk but come on, you could give the girls a wee bottle of something to share while getting ready.

Imagine week of endless sitting, pulling for a chat, more sitting, quick chat on the terrace, let’s chat on the swing, more sitting. They should do dates every day so the couples might have a chance to get to know each other in other settings.

I think there are times when dr Alex comes across well and you can see his sense of humour etc

I do actually think that Megan might have some sort of body dysmorphia. She has had so much surgery at such a young age to completely change her looks. I didn't think that pic in Hello was her, but then actually when you look at the other old picture of her as well you can see the transition.

And she is really quite down on herself in the villa, saying that the boys are only interested in her fake tits and veneers, and how she is like the fat kid at sports day. I think she might have some serious issues.

It's like with his cringey chatting-up, it's obvious the producers have placed him and the girl he's interested in alone somewhere together and told him to tell her he finds her attractive/is interested etc cue all the awkward 'so I think you're really hot and everything'

Megan’s a big old mess but I think this Vice article does a good job of looking at why she might be the way she is. You could say the same for Adam though, depending on how long ago he went from fat kid to rippling PT who had no problems getting the girls.

Personally several of them do seem like they could do with some real therapy. Meghan obviously. But also Adam - his eye contact is weird, which seems to work as "deeply interested" with the girls but could be that everything he does is just learned behaviour that seems to work (and if Ellie knew him as a kid it could explain why she is so confused).

I think Wes is the kind of guy that Meghan would like to be able to "get" but Alex2 is the type she usually ends up with - and then uses her.
