I just 'won' a now tv pass. I browsed and saw I could select sky cinema movies. I have a smart tv. If I get this, does it mean I have access to sky cinema movies without having to have a sky subscription? If so, that's really good! I've got until 2019 to claim it so I'm going to wait for the winter months but just wanted to find out as I'm not terribly good with tech stuff. I've got Netflix and a smart tv.

Nope. I think you'll find you with a TV pass you can see all the cinema you can't watch without a cinema pass - you might get 2 weeks free then when you cancel it, they'll offer you it as half price. But no, it's not free.

Ok, but if I pay for the sky cinema pass that's all I have to pay to get it? Rather than paying £30+ a month for sky subscription etc

Yes, if you've won a 'Cinema' pass than you will have the option to watch the sky movie channels on your Now TV app (not the sky store you may have on your tv). You'll have to create an account and you'll also get a free 2 week trial of the kids and entertainment packs which you can use at any time.
It is very easy to cancel your subscription using their app, when you try and cancel they offer it for a discount so never pay full price but if you don't want it then they cancel it. I also received an email from them which awarded us with the Kids package free for a year which is nice.

I recently won a 1 month now tv pass. I signed up and claimed the month then cancelled straight away. I got 1 month sky cinema nor nothing. You do not pay sky.

Yes that's how Now Tv works, and is why I have it. You can pick and choose what you want, I tend to alternate the entertainment and cinema packages or just cancel them off if I know I have a lot of uni assignments or work to do from home in the evenings.
