No. Tell me more!

iloveredwine · 28/06/2018 11:34

just found it. about a missing girl who turns up dead 5 years later with evidence of her being held captive. Really good so far. I don't know why I haven't seen it advertised anywhere.

In on episode 4. Really enjoying it!

Heratnumber7 · 29/06/2018 09:11

Started Ep 1 on iPlayer last night, on your recommendations. Looking good. I hope it has a "proper" ending, and doesn't just stop like so many mystery progs and films do these days. Angry

cheesydoesit · 29/06/2018 10:05

Yes, I'm enjoying it. Possible spoilersdependingwhichepisodeyouareupto

I've seen it credited at the Welsh 'The Fall' as it's not a whodunnit. I like the fact that Dylan at first comes across as a gormless loser to most that meet him but in episode four we saw how scary he could be. Good stuff. Four more episodes to go!

eatyourveg · 29/06/2018 17:15

Its his mother who I think is much scarier - she must be aware of just what he is up to and imo she is not innocent at all. I think the younger sister (or is she meant to be his daughter) will hopefully prove influential in the storyline reaching a conclusion.

cheesydoesit · 29/06/2018 17:39

Oh yeah it's a very dysfunctional family! Grin But she looks as scary as she acts I think whereas he could be regarded as a harmless and simple man if you met him in the street. Was he in My Family? Maybe that's where I get my perspective of him from. I think Nina is Mali's daughter. The dates add up. Unless he had more than one woman in captivity at a time.

I've watched this and enjoyed it - waiting for tonight's episode to be on iPlayer to catch up.

5000FingersofDrT · 30/06/2018 23:50

There's another thread about this somewhere. I'm really into it, but it's pretty dark. Tonight's (I saw it on BBC4 - are the rest of you watching it on BBC Wales?) was quite hard to watch, especially with the whole focus on the set-up at the house and what's going on there. Presumably we'll have more of the detectives next week.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 01/07/2018 08:05

Remind me about 'My Family'?

cheesydoesit · 01/07/2018 12:50

Just googled and was he was in the later series after Kris Marshall left. My Family was the BBC sitcom about a dentist named Ben Harper and his family.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 01/07/2018 13:01

Oh yes, with Zoe Wannamaker? I knew I recognised the title. Hmm, I reckon he's been in something else since then too. He looks (recently) familiar...

Loving these Welsh thrillers.
