I am so confused. When he was dragged off the plane why wasn't he killed? Surely he was a traitor?? Please help me understand

he was another driver for someone else who wanted to leave, so one. an assume not an eye!

The other bloke was a different driver. I think I remembered him from something else but not sure what he did.
