Watching emmerdale lately and really dislike Diane these days. The way she speaks to and treats doug is vile. No one says anything and he still wants to be with her. Wtf?!

Completely agree. I have no idea who's writing it these days but I feel as though they can't have bothered to find anything out about the character, and have completely changed her.

She never suffered fools, but she also was never mean and bitter and just plain horrible. I don't know why they've done it.

Yip, totally agree ! Unless she has an underlying health problem thats stressing her out, but who knows. She really is a completley different person these days

They’ve made Diane a horrible character now. Also, Eric was really lovely for ages but they’ve turned him back into nasty greedy Eric again.

I agree about eric as well. Should never have killed val off. Shot themselves in the foot there. They were a great comedy couple together. The door should have been left open for her
