Fuzzy Grin

redshoeblueshoe · 18/07/2018 09:45

Good morning.
I have nothing interesting or amusing today

so you lot better come up with stuff to make me laugh Grin

FuzzyCustard · 18/07/2018 09:47

I went to the real doctor's this morning. The place was full of patients. (But they have got a new computer system that was causing some delays...that's the sort of thing that would happen at the Mill)
And no one was in fancy dress. Disappointed.

redshoeblueshoe · 18/07/2018 09:59

Gosh that is disappointing Grin
At mine we only get to talk to the receptionist when you ring for the appointment.
And your name is put on a screen and tells you which room to go to.
So - for example if Al started working at ours I wouldn't even catch a glimpse of him coming to call a patient.
That's disappointing Grin

SubtitlesOn · 18/07/2018 12:03

This might cheer you guys up especially the one trying to escape then seeing your boss

GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

I am off to GP this afternoon to have my ears syringed, I have them done quite often since I was a small child cos I wear hearing aids but I love having it done SmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmile

I don't expect surgery waiting room to be busy though cos it is before afternoon surgery starts

redshoeblueshoe · 18/07/2018 12:27

Sub I'm sitting here crying Grin Grin Grin

redshoeblueshoe · 18/07/2018 12:38

Sub don't forget to wear fancy dress

FuzzyCustard · 18/07/2018 12:45

We have a screen at our GP surgery that pops up with your name and which room to go to, but the occasional doctor does come out into the waiting room to call you in. I do like a personal service!

I've been cutting our hedge today with some borrowed electric hedge cutters. It's a bit "terminator". (But the hedge looks better and I can see the sea and the cows all the way along now, which was the idea. NB the cows are not at the sea, they are in the field in front of the sea. In case you thought they were on holiday.)

Raahh · 18/07/2018 13:37

We have a screen, that comes up with the name, and it used to have a robotic voice. Which was a bit rubbish- and never pronounced anything properly. Grin. So, now it doesn't speak- it just beeps. Which is fine- unless you've nipped to the loo, and miss your name flashing up Grin.

One of the Doctors (now retired) used to to come out to call patients in. She did it for years, mainly as a way of getting exercise, she said

(she had the room furthest from the waiting room, deliberately- can't remember if it had a window Grin).

I took the dog for a walk earlier, and always go past a field of cows. (we are no-where near the seaGrin). Today, the dog was spooked by a random goat that seemed to appear from nowhere. Grin.

FuzzyCustard · 18/07/2018 14:00

A random goat? Impressed. Has it been reading MN? (isn't there a thing about people on benefits having a goat? I may have misread all the signals. I'm not that into that sort of thread!)

We get the occasional random deer crossing the road. And many stupid pheasants.

Raahh · 18/07/2018 14:15
Grin

The cows always come very close to the road- and the dog pretends to be well 'ard (which he isn't Grin), he squeaked his head off when he saw the goat Grin.

The cows just mooed at him like he was nuisance.

SubtitlesOn · 18/07/2018 16:01

Well I am back, sadly no cows, goats or sea to be seen on journey there or back SadSadSad

We have a machine go sign in with dob etc then go to waiting room

The only other people in waiting room was a mum with toddler in buggy and elderly lady just leaving as I went in

I was reading the text on TV screen then my name to go to room 4 for Nurse xyz comes on TV screen. I didn't notice any sound, it used to go Beep Beep or ping pong but as my ears were not working I have no idea if it did today

SubtitlesOn · 18/07/2018 16:01

Glad you liked the video

GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

blamethecat · 18/07/2018 16:37

We have a screen to check in (with about 67000 language options) then whoever you are seeing calls you over the tannoy.
I'm at work do no random goats here sadly, although a few weeks ago I was having a driving lesson and had to stop for a mother duck and ducklings to cross the road, which considering there is no pond/lake/body of water near was random.

toldmywrath · 18/07/2018 16:53

I saw a goat in his bed yesterday, but today the friendly dog is in the goats bed.
Mind, a few weeks ago the goat was in the house in the dogs bed.
If you're still following, the unwell pony came into the house as well.
This all happened where my DD lives.

toldmywrath · 18/07/2018 16:55

Cows and the sea, are they coos? ( Scottish)
I envy you your view Fuzzy
We've just got a few trees and other houses.

Raahh · 18/07/2018 16:56

told Grin

toldmywrath · 18/07/2018 16:58

I'm not watching Red Rock, but I am still watching classic Corrie.
Yesterday's episodes had the first view of Freshco, Reg Holdsworth and catch yersel on there Liz. ( The McDonalds)

FuzzyCustard · 18/07/2018 18:01

told it is the best view ever. And not coos, my lover, but Cornish.

We had a happy time yesterday walking some SW coast path and the going bodyboarding in some excellent waves. Living the dream.

toldmywrath · 18/07/2018 19:00

We've had several holidays in North Cornwall, we absolutely love it there.

FuzzyCustard · 18/07/2018 20:20

We're in North Cornwall...it is beautiful and we are glad we moved here. Whereabouts did you visit told?

toldmywrath · 19/07/2018 08:07

Near Newquay, but in one of the small villages. Not too keen on Newquay itself, prefer the rural idyll.. fuzzy

FuzzyCustard · 19/07/2018 19:33

I'm not keen on Newquay either, but at least it keeps all the riff raff together...especially the post GCSE kids getting drunk! There's so many beautiful places near there though, for the more discerning holidaymaker!

SubtitlesOn · 20/07/2018 20:06
