Hotel Inspector spoilt brat

Did anyone else see the Hotel Inspector last night ?
It was from the Horse and Hound in Hawick

Dad had bought the Inn for his Daughter to run and sent her off to Ballymaloe cookery school where she met her husband

Alex Polizzi was asked by the father to come along and help however DD did not come across at all well still n her onesie and more interested in her horses than running a profitable business

I would have been furious having been asked to come and help to then find that attitude

You cannot help someone not prepared to help themselves

My dd has a nice leather rucksack River island so they must be "in". I doubt Alex got hers at River island though

Can I join the ‘I love Alex’ fan club too? 😁 Is it ridiculous that I have actually used her ‘lessons’ in how a hotel/b&b should look, when designing and maintaining my doggy daycare/holiday business? 😳 I can hear her voice, every time I go to paint something or move a pot plant! 😁

I don't think Cambridge Lady was attached to the duvet covers, more the memory of the very dear friend who put them on in the first place.

The young husband was quite sweet, but the girl was awful and rather vacant, I suspect Daddy bought her the hotel to give her something to do, not realising how hard hospitality is.

I saw it too. The husband was obviously a really keen chef but she was just hopeless. And those dogs everywhere.... just YUK.

Hope she was really embarrassed when the show aired.

I felt a little sorry for the couple. They didn't seem interested in the hotel or hospitality at all - it looked like it had been foisted on them and they'd rather be doing something else entirely. The dad seemed to have more money than sense. Perhaps he could have checked whether they wanted it in the first place.

The girl looked permanently stoned. She didn't give a shit. Daddy bought it for her because it's clear she can't be employed anywhere with her attitude. I hope Daddy has the money to support her for the entirety of her life because she'll amount to FA with her attitude.

That total lack of embarrassment at how shit they were or how rude they were being is what real privilege (often overused on here) means. Daddy will buy you a hotel on a whim and it doesn't matter if you stuff up.

Good lord, just watched this on catch up. I think Rosa has been molly coddled all her life and has never experienced anyone talking to her the way Alex did.

The husband seemed lovely but unfortunately just someone else who will molly coddle and protect her from the real world.

Love the programme though I find her constant calling everyone darling rather patronising.

She looked like she smelled - I'd never have eaten anything she had a hand in!

Rosa did look like she needed a good scrub with a deck brush thats what made me think there was more to it but maybe she was just a lazy moo
