Is anyone else watching Outlander as it's broadcast on More4 (i.e. currently at the beginning of Series 2)? I've stayed away from the other Outlander threads as I think they are further ahead and trying to avoid spoilers.

I am, that looks as though there's 2 of us then Smile

I was a bit confused about why she was suddenly back in 18th C. France with Jamie without having gone back through the stones. I can cope with the moving between centuries, but not if they add flashbacks willy-nilly.

I was confused with that as well, wondered if she'd found the ability to timeslip when something in one time was a parallel action in the other time.
But being as Frank had burned all her clothes and she didn't arrive starkers, I reckon your flashback is a good explanation, it was just so sudden and unexpected.

The actual site of the stones used in filming is here www.megalithic.co.uk/article.php?sid=1146411369 but the stones are not real, just film props (although they look pretty authentic, see the scale drawings) and are only put there when filming takes place. It's a hillock on private land.

Thanks Skye I'll be a bit more patient Smile

I struggled a bit but it starts to make more sense. I promise. What episode are you on?

gryffen · 17/06/2018 11:52

I've seen all 3 seasons and trust me they don't flip back Willy nilly.

Keep watching 🙂🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

For those of us watching at More4 pace, we've seen the first episode of S2.

Brilliant.

Really enjoyed tonight's episode, such a change to have so many funny moments Grin

I found this episode a bit frustrating, some of the characters in the French court were just caricatures.

It did get interesting in the last couple of minutes though.
