Oh I love Joe Absolom, he's a brilliant actor. Can play goofy characters and the baddest of villains.

I remember him yonks ago in Eastenders.
Like @JaneJeffer says we need more couples or families. All we get are single girls who end up getting pregnant or oafs like Paddy and Marlon who have been married multiple times - as if 🙄

I’ve just thought, they should do a different villain name because didn’t Louise kill Ray in Classic Emmerdale and now we have a Ray coming in Emmerdale who is also a villain lol

Wow. Other soaps might as well not have turned up. I haven't watched EastEnders for years and years. Absolute travesty that they pretty much won everything. Presumably because it is their anniversary year isn't it 🤷🏻‍♀️

I won't bother watching on Thursday.

Yeah, only Amelia Flanagan won for Emmerdale and David Neilson won for Corrie. It was mostly Eastenders night and I don’t think I’ll watch on Thursday either

I hope it spurs Emmerdale on to better things but seeing as they won for the awful April story it might send them down the wrong path. I hope they don’t forget that category wasn’t voted for by the public though!

Gutted for Beth and Eden. They were outstanding.

Robert and Bernice are very good whenever they have scenes together so I hope that will happen
