Good grief, in quick succession we've had Ruby's abuse storyline, the grim April episode last night and now next week someone is going to die related to the hand under the ice trailor we've seen at new year.

When do you think we're going to get some love and laughter?

I'm really really sick of all the misery. Who actually thinks this passes for entertainment and is what people want to watch.

Just bumping the thread as it seems to have dropped down a fair bit.

I've read that April's homeless friend Dylan will be coming into Emmerdale again as Bob's grandson. Not sure about the truth in this but I did think Dylan was excellent in the April episode so I hope we see him again.

Fine bringing him in but hope they don't use the long list grandson story.
We've enough tenuous relative stories to last a lifetime

Wow, I wonder who his mum/dad is and why he was on the streets. I thought he was good in the April episode. So he'll sort of be related to April, sort of step cousins?

If it is Bob's grandson TJ then his mum was Dawn (Bob's daughter) and his dad is Terry. Both died I think and TJ went to live with his nan (one of Bob's ex wives).

I’d quite like if TJ would come back as an adult. Regarding Dylan though if what you read is true, who would be Dylans parents? Jamie? Carly?

I mean that Dylan is TJ but has changed his name to Dylan. Not sure the timeline works. Although that hasn't stopped Emmerdale before. Moira and Mack spring to mind.

If he is a grandson of Bob's they'll probably make his mum or dad a child that Bob never knew of.
Maybe some woman he had a fling with whilst peddling Naughty Nylons around the dales.

I saw this @JewelleryCat 🙄 FFS they've just killed off several characters and others have left and they go and introduce a random.

And don't we have enough bad boys? Can't we have a normal law abiding good boy. He's going to have a hard act to follow being a bad boy when we've had murders, assaults, blackmail and affairs.

I think that would be a nice change, a law abiding good boy. I’d rather Amy, Leyla and Suzy was back rather than someone new. By all means, introduce someone new in a couple of months but he’s coming next month

Oh in the name of sanity - another pregnancy. Can't they come up with anything more original. I think we should be on some of fan forum where we tell the scriptwriter what the public want to see.
It sure as he'll wouldn't be any of the tripe they've churning out at the moment.

What about Jacob? Sarah is meant to be with him. Are we going to have another boring don't know who the father is story?

From what I can see, Sarah tries to tell Jacob so hopefully he’s the only father. We don’t need another who’s the father story like Corrie right now

From what I read, Sarah is led off the rails by this new lad so could he be the father.
I'd have thought with all her health issues she'd be more sensible but hey, this is Emmerdale where sense goes out the window.
