No loss - totally pointless character. If I remember correctly the vicar's daughter (can't even remember her name Naomi??) left after being upset by all the negative reactions to her character so maybe it's the same in this case.

Maybe something happened, got into an argument or like the actress who plays Amelia, there was nowhere for Emmerdale to go with her character

Yes disagreement with the producers sounds similar to the David/Victoria/Meena debacle.

@JewelleryCat the Ruby abuse thing is just loads of rumours I think. Bone of it seems very concrete but there is an awful lot of rumours about it.

Sharon Marshall was just on This Morning giving away supposed spoilers but nothing that juicy. Just that Christmas at Home Farm will be a bit of a disaster. I saw another rumour that the person Peter is in cahoots with on operation destroy Kim is Joe Tate and/or Jamie Tate and that Will is just a pawn in the whole plan.

I can't see either of the Tate actors coming back.

It's only on for half an hour on Christmas day despite them bigging it up as the most exciting Christmas episode ever

I read that there's a death at Christmas but take your pick as half the cast are rumoured to be leaving.

I also saw speculation that Ella will burn down the pub. Not again! It's been 10 minutes since Al blew it up.

She's meant to be leaving in the spring. Wish they'd hurry up!

I wonder if we’ll ever find out what’s happening with Ruby and her family. I saw This Morning as well but as @PrincessScarlett said, nothing of substance and nothing I didn’t really know because I read DS a lot lol. DS also has the Emmerdale and Corrie Christmas and NY tv schedule up

Perhaps the leavers can all be having Christmas dinner in the pub and Ella poisons the food killing them 🤷🏻‍♀️

Tbh I don't blame them as most of the cast barely appear.

Is it because of covid and the way they had to change their filming why lots of the cast don’t appear? I wonder why they don’t revert back to before covid

Possibly but some of the cast get such little airtime they mysterious wonder why they're still contracted .
For example we had the Arthur online dating stuff and Laurel and the vicar but heard nothing about either story for weeks.

I heard Manpreet was leaving but I don't know if it's true.

ITV should let us vote people off Emmerdale.

I've seen that Belle gets Piper back at Christmas. I was hoping they would be reunited

I saw that too ! Couldn't miss the picture of them both on the front page of a TV listings magazine !

Having looked up how they are reunited, I was disappointed

I was hoping Belle would be in a nearby town one day and they would recognise each other, but no it doesn't seem to be that way.

Time will tell as a brief 2 lines in a TV mag may not give the background info...
