Anyone else quite meh and disappointed in these so far? The show ended on a great cliff hanger, will not be filmed for a new season (although still hoping someone does) and now these two episodes of blandness. I haven’t enjoyed them, they are not up to the standard of the series. Anyone reckon they are doing more harm than good to the argument to bring the series back for a 4 season?

I agree, I’m not sure of the point of them, I would have been perfectly happy viewing them mid season but not after that cliff hanger. I think they were probably filmed as mid season but not used and then just released after the cancellation.

There needs to be another season. Was it poor viewing figures that canned it?

Not sure why it was canned. I know that Brooklyn 99 won its desire to be taken over by a different network. I didn’t even see the episodes as good in series ones. The one with the vaguely creepy ‘God’ talking, when the whole point has been made that it’s nothing to do with God, he’s made his own choices and things have happened despite God, not due to him, made it make even less sense!
