DH was saying that there was a big hoo har a few years back and professionals weren't allowed anymore but I heard Lee's R4 sitcom so I knew I was right!

Yes their researchers phone professional performers and ask them to do it, my DP has been phoned a couple of times.

Half of the good people do it as career or part time job, but they use BGT to get more clients so they can take it up full time or just make more money in general. You'd be surprised how many people are spotting by BGT 'agents' and are asked to audition to make the show more interesting. A friend of mine who is a singer was

While we're on the BGT subject! ... without coming across like a Britain First twat, how come people who don't live in Britain are eligible to perform? What's the 'party line'? I couldn't give a hoot who is there, I wanted the balancing brothers to win!
