It's nearly that time again. The time where we are glued to the TV, totally knowing it's all a pile of pants, but we have to watch.

I heard on the radio today - apparently the next batch of housemates are all going to be gay or camp and there are rumours of there being the first gay marriage on the show.

So there you are. No idea if any of it is true but I'm sure we will all find out soon.

I hate BB...they take Friends etc off at 7.30am and having Friends on in the background when DS is bombing around living room full of energy when I'm still bleary eyed is a life saver!

Davina is going to be hosting a Sunday evening catch up/psychologists show. Who will be doing the Dermot and Russell programmes then?

"The new series of Big Brother will begin on Wednesday, May 30, Channel 4 has confirmed.

Once again the show is expected to last thirteen weeks, with a projected final set for Friday, August 31.

As usual, Davina will host the live entrance show on launch night, beginning at 9pm and leading in to the season finale of Desperate Housewives at 10.15pm.

BB makes me feel old, and I'm only 34.

When it started most of the contestants were around 30 and so was I. They didn't have a clue what they were doing or even if anyone was watching, and it was quite fun.

I've got 7 years older and they've got, on average, 8-9 years younger.

The result is that they are now a totally different generation. One that feels entitled to fame, one that accepts celeb culture unquestioningly, one that is proud of not voting and not even knowing who is in the Cabinet, one that breaks into renditions of "songs" by shite R'n'B artists.

I am a Big Bro fan in the closet!
