That was a hard watch. I think there is a good argument for
Legalised and regulated brothels. I don't know if they would help to break the cycle, but at least these poor souls would be better protected. Maybe the women themselves don't want that level of supervision in their lives, I don't know, but looking at their working lives as they are now I don't know how anything could be worse.

I also wonder who the men are who are so desperate for sex that they are prepared to buy these emotionally and physically damaged women.

It was just horrible.
Not one of those women hadn’t had a damaged childhood.

Most of them were mothers. Had lost their children one way or another. There were times in their lives where they desperate needed love and support and it just wasn’t there.
They didn’t sound like women who did it because they enjoyed the lifestyle it was giving them...because they didn’t have one.
Society is failing so many people and they seemed to be at the bottom of the heap.
