It’s back! Depressing episode.

Yes it was very dark which people turning in each other almost.

I'd forgotten some of what happened in the last series like that the mum and dad had split up and why. I mean I know they had problems but can't remember them splitting and why exactly in the end.

purpleme We haven't actually seen them split up until this episode. They almost split up in Series 1 after the husband slept with Anita but they were making another go of it in Series 2. At the end of Series 2 the husband wanted to move to the synth-free town and Laura said no, and he said he would go alone then so that the kids could be synth free for at least half of the time. I may have misinterpreted it but I wasn't sure if he was serious or just something said in the heat of an argument iyswim. DP and I binge watched the first two series over the past few weeks

I enjoyed the episode tonight- a really good start to the series.

Oh I see I do have a vague recollection of mention of a synth free place now actually.

I don't have time to watch them all again. Wish I did remember more details!

I wasn't sure whether to get in to this again because I wasn't mad on series 2 but really enjoyed last nights episode it has definitely taken a darker twist so going to stick with it. I find it mad though that within 6 months of "day zero" people were all quite happy to accept orange eyed synths into their homes. I think I would have been put off for life! I would definitely be with the Dad in the synth free zone

yes I found it odd about the orange eyes being accepted so quickly too.

I was also surprised that there hadn't been a massive slaughter of humans within that year from "day zero" so many must have woken and been angry, and how come the humans just apparently let them live in peace?

I'm quite cynical so would imagine seeing a mass round up and detaining/bumping off of the woken synths immediately.
