I had never heard of these beautiful, gentle animals until I saw this programme. I had no idea that they existed or that they are being hunted and smuggled to endangered levels - what humankind are doing to these gorgeous little animals is absolutely heart wrenching, the mistreatment that they suffer at the hands of Man makes me ashamed to be human. This David Attenborough documentary is on bbc iplayer for those that haven't seen it. I take my hat off to the lady in the documentary who is fighting their corner - she deserves a medal. I wish all people were as compassionate as she is. Pangolins are absolutely beautiful, they should be cherished, not destroyed.
