for me the early episodes are ruined by his dd

Definitely the first one, even though it was somewhat spoilt as we were late comers to it, dh had just bought the dvd box set and then Johnathon Ross bleurted out on his show that Nina Myers did it - Bastard, have never forgiven him for that!!

when in cannes when dd1 was a baby, president palmer was there in a meeting and i dd1 was wobbling around, she went up to him, they struck up a little friendship, he was so friendly to her.

Awwwwww - how cute, I loved President Palmer (the first!!)

i loved watching the first series, it was a sunday night event. really didn't like the others at all

oh well - don't need to finish watching the first series now I know.... harumph....

Sorry to do a hijack here, but on a related topic, does anyone watch 24 AND Heroes? Was the woman who played the pyschiatrist to Nikki in 24 at some point? She seems really familiar to me!

The first eight episodes of series 1. Read somewhere that these were initially written as a self-contained unit 'cos they didn't know whether it would take off.

It's all been downhill from there, IMO - especially the justification of torture as a means of interrogation (oooh, topical!)

Don't worry bomper - I'd already read a spoiler about what happens in the very end with Terri (but I shan't say just in case anyone else is as behind the times as I am).

Right I won't read this thread again as I will be buying dh more boxsets as they will be an easy birthday, christmas, fathers day pressie for the next couple of years .

I really like them all. I love 24, can't wait for the film

I bought the box set of series 5 I think it was to watch in labour - I didn't get very far surprisingly, not quite the thing to help you relax!

I seriously think President Palmer should actually be the president - how much safer would you feel if he was in charge?
