He scrathed the concrete floor in his cell with his fingernails til he had burrowed 30 feet, then clawed his way back out the other side he is now on the run from the FBI and plans to have a sex change to hide his identity

Maddie sent Lucas (dressed up as gang member with tattoo) to tell the guard Jonny was friendly with that the person who killed Rocco was going to go to the police. Guard told Jonny who then phoned the guy who did it to tell him to keep schtum. Ric had someone follow him to the phone to listen to who he called.
Police then went to this guys house, found a bloody tracksuit in bottom of fire and traced his phone record to show Jonny phoned him from prison. POlice matched lood o tracksuit to Roccos and Ric was freed.

Who started a Home and Away thread without alerting me?! I loved the scene where Ric was let out of jail because I'm sad like that...But yes,the justice system moves swiftly in Summer Bay World. Not as quickly as the docs, though - Martha rang up the clinic, had her abortion about an hour later and was curled up on the sofa in the same clothes about ten minutes later!
