Hide behind the sofa. She's back. The scariest judge in the world and I love her! Small and deadly Cherish is back to sour the cream anglaise , crumble the meringue nests and deglaze the hopes of incompetent pastry chefs everywhere.

I hope Liam relaxes as the series goes on. I do love this combination of judges and presenters though.

Cherish has upped her brutality level. Liam is soooo sweet but his running commentary sounds really wooden. Yes I hope he relaxes a bit. Basically the judges haven’t liked much as per usual. Still

There's a lesson to be learned there, foraging, radical hair and patisserie don't mix. I think we should all take a moment to reflect and move on.

I am on a chocolate overload just from watching, it must smell amazing inside that kitchen.

Cherish is superb. What a gal. I really don't trust chefs that "forage", we're no longer hunter - gatherers, thank you.

We watched this earlier. Would have watched it anyway but one of the teams is very local to us and we really wanted to see how they got on.

There's only 2 people on each team this year, didn't there used to be 3? is this the first year that channel 4 have had it? Maybe the restructure is to do with that?

Who is that Tomtit presenter bloke, anyone know? He's seriously giving me The Rage (but nothing that face planting him in a gooey cream cake wouldn't cure)
Cherish and my French Fancy were both great last night, I think. I love to hear someone top of their profession talking knowledgeably.
Which brings me nicely back to my dream of faceplanting Tomtit's face..

There was soo much good stuff on telly all at the same time last night I hope they repeat this (i'm sure they will). I only got into it when it was repeated last time. Yes Cherish is A MAZ ING I like that she tells the whole truth though!

Watched on catchup and was confused as I thought purple were eliminated last week, but they just had the tears.
The showstopper was a weird one I thought, a bit boring for us viewers after the celeb disasters with choux.

The main problem was 'getting my ear in' to understand Cherish, I noticed that they did do some sub titling but not of Cherish ! The sweet guy who was on Bake Off looked a bit out of his depth! Yes the profiterole towers weren't that inspiring.

The tiramisu slices that won looked yummy! The programme is a bit over the top for me though.

OMG, if I was that French guy who flicked raw meringue onto Cherish's silk shirt I would immediately stick my head in the blast chiller and hope to die! She must have cursed that meringue too, they had to make it again.

I like the look of the meringue/ chocolate cakes.especially the ruffles.

Wow they all struggled terribly this lot.

Cherish is a lot less scary now than when the programme was Creme de la Creme. She was never without her ruler then (to ensure all pats were the same size) and she NEVER smiled. She's positively marshmallow now.

Love this programme - the skill is amazing. Cherish is an absolute professional - we went to afternoon tea at the Langham where she's the executive chef and she came round to chat and took my daughter, who loves her, on a tour of the kitchens and to meet some of the staff - so kind! She was an absolute star and said how much she enjoyed doing the TV work with a glint in her eye and how people were always so surprised that she wasn't like that in real life.
