The Heart Guy anyone? Aussie drama.

My favourite tv series in years was Wanted. Australian drama about two women on the run. I really loved the humour and kept an eye open for other Aus telly.
The Heart Guy is a bit of a comedy /drama/soap with some great characters and script.I love it. On the Drama channel - is anyone else watching it?

Yes but I've only just started! Try 800 words on BBC too if you like antipodean soapy stuff 👍🏼

I believe there is a season 2 as well.
I haven't watched antipodean soapy stuff since the 1980s when I used to watch neighbours. Will check out 800 words.

Just watched episode 9 .
It's brilliant, so many great characters, Meryl, Penny. Betty reminds me of Donna in Suits.

I know, I watched episode 9 yesterday too, and honestly cried. I had to watch episode 10 straight after (even though I’d been strictly rationing myself), because I was so sad.

If I liked this (and I really really did) what other programmes would I like? I also like Chicago Fire. I’ve got Netflix and Sky, but not a clue what to watch.

Have you see Wanted on Netflix? It's another Aussie comedy drama and I absolutely loved it. Two very different women get caught up in a crime and end up on the run. I am waiting for season 3.

Other things I like which are lightweight comedy drama - The Durrells, Suits (Netflix), House (currently on box sets). I also used to like Greys Anatomy but got fed up around season 10.

I too truely loved Wanted.

My other two Netflix Aussie finds were The Code and Rake. Rake is fantastic!
