Surely I’m watching for the same reason everyone is...to hear about the prison ex- my god the rest of this show is so dull!
Shows focusing on one person alone suck, (that’s why the Kardashian’s works as many people to focus on.)
Ferne is very unlikeable and nothing bugs me more than these towie type mums going on and on about doing things by themselves, “oh aren’t I great, no nanny” - yet use their mums are around 24/7.
Think I’m more team Billie/Sam....

It's ok....think I prefer mummy diaries..more funny bits.

nancy75 · 02/05/2018 21:34

I think some of her comments are quite inconsiderate to the victims of her scum bag boyfriend.
I know what he did is not her fault but a bit of tact goes a long way

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 02/05/2018 21:35

nancy75 I know, very stupid of her to say “how am I going to heal” Hmm really?

nancy75 · 02/05/2018 21:43

She’s just annoying me now, she is so self centred. I’m only watching because I can’t be bothered to find the remote !

creamcheeseandlox · 02/05/2018 21:46

I used to like ferne on towie. She was a bit more natural, happy go lucky and not as false as the others. She has slowly morphed into a self centred diva and I'm not so keen anymore.

flopsyrabbit1 · 02/05/2018 21:50

oh seems like im the only one enjoying it

Hopskipjumping · 02/05/2018 21:51

I take my hat off to her. Can you imagine how difficult that year was and what the future might hold for her and her daughter. Shes quite optimistic and I think shes doing well. I don't think I would be able to cope.

I understood her getting frustrated when her baby was crying.

It may not be the most exciting or funny programme but I quite enjoy it as some easy viewing.

nancy75 · 02/05/2018 22:01

I’m not totally convinced she’s not still with the boyfriend. She had to spilt from him because the media would have crucified her if she stood by him. From what Ive read & know from people that live near them the boyfriend was far from a saint before the acid incident - it was well known what kind of a person he is

nancy75 · 02/05/2018 22:05

Oh god, now it’s TOWIE, I really need to find the tv remote Grin

Hopskipjumping · 02/05/2018 22:11

Really nancy75?

That's interesting. Mainly as I can't understand any reason why she would want to stick by him. I really doubt she could long term though as he will be in prison for a long time and hopefully she would come to her senses.

One thing I did notice is how involved her mum is. Its great that she's there for support as im sure she will need it, but does she really need to all of those little jobs for her? Surely babysitting is enough and letting ferne do those tasks may help her long term.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 02/05/2018 22:12

Well I assume they’ve split because even the most dedicated of women would struggle to wait 20years.
I think the problem is she’s never mentioned to shown any compassion for the victims (perhaps legally she can’t),she keeps implying she’s the biggest victim. She also knew he was a scumbag, his entire family are, ok maybe she didn’t expect GBH with acid but still I’m not quite buying the “shock”!

OP posts:
OnlyFoolsnMothers · 02/05/2018 22:13

Not towie Shock....dear god call someone to come change the channel....I’m on first dates now (high brow by comparison)

Dalesgirl16 · 02/05/2018 22:15

Her language is foul and she blatantly knew she was with a criminal seeing as he had a cannabis farm growing at home. No idea why programmes like This Morning have her.

nancy75 · 02/05/2018 22:19

Panic over, I found the remote!

He got 20 years so out in 10 (maybe less?) he got in trouble at xmas because he had smuggled in a phone so he could call her.
Women do stay with men who are in prison for awful things, I can’t understand it but it does happen.
If she’s genuinely not with him I do feel sorry for her that she had to keep taking the baby to the prison to visit him

Scotschic · 03/05/2018 02:36

She may well be in a relationship with Arthur Collins but realistically all that really means is that she’s there for him whilst he’s in prison and I can’t see her visiting for the next 25 years can you?! I doubt she’ll keep visiting for the next 25 months Hmm never mind any longer...He is using his daughter as an excuse for Fearne to keep visiting him as let’s face it, who else does he have asides from his family? Men in jail, and especially a man whose facing 25 years of his freedom being taken, will grasp on to anyone whilst they’re inside and all the better when it’s someone you’ve been intimate with.

You just know that if Arthur Collins hadn’t have did what he did and got sent to jail then, eventually he would have been controlling and possessive towards Fearne, it’s in his nature Angry and he won’t ever change, she sort of escaped but because she has his baby, and his family are nearby then he still has a grip over her and she seriously needs to shake him, and then off quickly, Sunday can make up her own mind to see her father & his family, when she is old enough to make these decisions. Fearne should actually move from Essex, it’s a start and definitely a step in the right direction of moving on from Arthur.

Sunday doesn’t need a father that’s in jail until she’s a grown woman!

Scotschic · 03/05/2018 02:38

Also I’ve read that Collins threatened to rape an ex girlfriends motherShockover the telephone when she answered it to tell him to stop harassing her daughter, his girlfriend at the time, he’s bad bad news and Fearne needs to be careful, I get the feeling that his family are quite a handful, in a Martina Cole novel type wayGrin

PaddysMarket · 03/05/2018 12:17

Hmm watched this last night, I like Ferne but I'm glad this is only a 3 parter. Not sure I could watch anymore than that.

mrssunshinexxx · 03/05/2018 12:32

Wasn't as good as I was expecting much prefer billie on the mummy diaries but I will watch the others 😂

Scotschic · 03/05/2018 13:55

I quite like that Fearnes life is a bit of a mess and I don’t mean that in a bitchy way, I mean that at least she’s not trying to make out that everything is hunky dory like Sam does, I actually feel sorry for Fearnes situation as her first time experience of being a mother has been way overshadowed by the fact Arthur committed the acid attack and got convicted for 25 years for it, and then she had the backlash to contend with.

I feel for her but don’t agree that taking Sunday to the prison to meet him, is the best for Sunday, it’s the best for Arthur & Fearne but not Sunday and Fearnes using her as an excuse.

OneInAMillionYou · 04/05/2018 05:57

I agree with previous posters, she seems to have had an empathy bypass when considering the victims of her repellant boyfriend.
So self centred and at the very least, tactless, actually using the words she needs to "heal" when those poor people are still dealing with the pain and after effects of having acid thrown at them!

Apart from that, she is as rough as the roughest thing from rough town. Her language is foul, not just swearing, but her vulgar description of her 'bits' post childbirth. I cringed in embarrassment for her.

She appears to be as thick as mince with absolutely zero personality. There was no fun or laughter in the programme, unlike the Mummy Diaries. I'm astonished ITV commissioned another series of this.

Scotschic · 04/05/2018 12:44

She is very rough speaking imo and Essex girls seem to discuss their lady gardens just as much as they discuss hair, clothes and makeupHmm and tbh I think that all these Essex type girls, think all they have to do to attract a man, is be aesthetically pleasing to look at and this is extended to enhanced boobs - BIG ones- and designer vaginas Blush and basically looking anything but natural, they don’t need to be bright, funny, kind, loyal, outgoing, bla, bla, bla, no personalities are needed to bag an Essex guy...the cream of the crop...NOT!!!Wink

Twogirlsandme · 04/05/2018 18:20

Kim Kardashian of Brentwood 😂😂😂

Scotschic · 05/05/2018 23:17

No Sam Faiers is the Kim Kardashian of Brentwood, not Fearne! 😂😂😂😂

No doubt those 2 actually argue over that!

EdWinchester · 05/05/2018 23:22

I watched about 10 minutes of this show today,

I can usually tolerate a bit of mindless numpty watching, but this was something else. Thick as a clot and no personality. She makes the Faiers sisters look vaguely intelligent.

AnneWiddecombesHandbag · 05/05/2018 23:29

I really can't stand her. My OH went to school with her and said she is a nasty piece of work.
