Looks like Russell Howard is going to throw money at the problems, just like Al Murray did last time. I wonder if they have the same agent?

Loved Tim Vine's quote after being splashed by lemon.

My only thought is that it feels a little bit as though Greg Davies' heart isn't quite in it this time.

Tim Vine is my ultimate favourite ever!! So I was over the moon when my little brother text me telling me,we went to see him a couple of months ago and was hilarious.

Loved the first episode and the lemon comment brilliant!

Just caught up and got up to date with the podcast "my dad wrote a porno " so first time seeing Alice Levine who I've really taken a shine too

Obviously goes without saying in regards to Greg! Saw him at his latest tour and is hands down the funniest gig I've ever been too

Have you seen clips of the US version of Taskmaster?

Little Alex Horne has taken his format to America, LA, and he still conducts all the tasks. I think it's just launched Series 1 over there.

But the US Taskmaster is way too nice, and complimentary about all the efforts of the contestants. WTF?

I'd be interested to see it. I was listening to an American podcast about British panel games in general, and they said they are doubtful that it will succeed because of the tasks aren't grand enough, the marking system isn't fair and to be funny, the host needs to be able to take the piss and the contestants need to cope with having the piss taken out of them.

I'm looking forward to seeing Liza and Alice. I think pp is right, Russell is just going to throw money at each task.

Taskmaster is my favourite and Greg Davies is the best comedian around, but I thought the first episode of this new series was really disappointing.
