Hollyoaks appropriate at what age?

What age would you say hollyoaks is suitable for?

Difficult one, i’d say 13 upwards but then I’m never that good at judging this kind of thing so I may be way off!

Dd is just turned 11, I guess I am just going to have to watch it for a week to find out

My 8 year old likes it but I've had to watch episode first to see if it's appropriate. He's very grown up for his age. Even though it's on before the watershed I feel some storylines haven't been suitable for him. One example was the self harming. I wasn't ready for him to know about that.

I'd say 11-13, depends on the child.
