Is it just me or are some of the house hunters absolute twats?? Tonight's 'catch up' episode a case in point. Both of them are pissing me off!

Typical older couple wanting to downsize by buying the exact same sized house they already live in.

I hate the catch up episodes I watch the whole thing when really I'm only interested in the last 15 minutes

I came on to say the same thing. I could have strangled the young couple knowing how many people in London are struggling to find housing and the refusal to compromise.

I wondered whether the older couple not entering one property was staged afterwards because it just seems so rude to Phil, the team and the owners.

They are horrible couples

The guy of the younger couple was an arrogant rude dickhead. I’d have told him where to stick it!
Even more glad that the “crash” he was holding onto didn’t happen.

Both couples are immensely irritating.

I liked it when Phil said something to the young couple like, 'carry on renting, I don't care!' It must be so hard to keep their cool sometimes. And the guy was so rude when he said, 'this programme's not called 'find house in wrong location' or words to that effect.

I thought the younger couple were smug fucks.

The young couple bought the highest spec townhouse they could off plan in Sevenoaks and he would now like a big pad in the country with a drive in, drive out driveway.

The older couple bought a 1960s house and refurbished it to have the huge open plan living they actually really wanted.

Phil is right though, it makes no difference to him what they do or don't do but it's their lives so they need to stop being so difficult.

I remembered both couples from first time round, the older ones should have just stayed in Australia. I remember wondering if the sister had to sell her house to get them to leave.

haha I've just watched this and when I saw this thread I knew it would be about that couple.

She was all gooey eyed at him and he was just cool as a cucumber. I have to say I was surprised they'd had 2 DC in that time

It was the bit in one of the flats where she was saying, 'dancing is about the whole...' Phil's face was a picture!

They were nauseating twats then, they are nauseating twats now. The revisits are the CF of the tv world (see also Grand Designs). 45 mins of repeat + 10mins of ‘update’ tacked on the end. Cheap and schedule filler TV. I record them and FF to the end (like most people, I imagine).

Is nobody applying to be on it anymore? Why all these catch up episodes?

Cheaper and easier to make I assume... bloody annoying though!!

I am addicted to Location but catch up episodes are really balls.

God, I might apply for it to make it a bit interesting.

I said that the dancing woman would end up in jail for some bunny boiler incident in later life.

I applied for Location, never got back to me, just an automated email saying they get lots of applicants and I might not hear.
