Class of mum and dad

Did anyone see this ? The teacher said that SATS in year 6 stayed with the child and they were judged on this for year 7. I was told ( years ago ) it was to assess how good the school is doing. I was a bit confused.
So were the mums and dads involved I think! Good programme though. ( channel 4 Tuesdays)

I like it too. The school keeps the SATS records and uses them how they want to I suppose. The Head seems old but he's very sensible.

The young single dad is struggling so much. School really can cause some stress

I have always thought that if you come from a good home then some schools are bad for children ( though nowadays there's soooo much stress involved in all state schooling, due to various decrees from governments ). (I speak as an ex EY teacher).

I thought this was a good programme in showing what is expected of the children how school works etc BUT I think there was no need to dress them in short trousers (boys). School T Shirts and tidy bottoms would have done and there is no need to talk to them and treat them like year 6 pupils behaviour wise. That spoiled what could have been quite an interesting programme. No need to humiliate them imo!

No - they could have treated them as grown ups!
