but the reviews say that the Beeb has changed the ending so the culprit as written by AC is not the same.

Is anyone willing to say if they have read it, who the murderer was in the original book?

What a load of crap!

It was Kirsten in the book but in an arrangement with Jacko who she was having a ‘thing’ with. She found out he was secretly married though and just left him in prison.

It was a good plot for a murder!

It was dreadful. Every single character totally different from their personalities in the book, and almost all the incidents in each episode a complete fabrication. Pointless.
