The baby looked far too young to form clear words like that! I was pretty cynical about it in general but how did he do the other bits?

It's a bit one trick pony as well isn't it.

Mightymucks · 16/04/2018 14:15

I think he had someone in the audience who signalled to him what they had picked.

The baby was clearly too young to be forming words, especially the ‘h’ sound, and you could tell it was him pretending to do a baby voice. The videos were on some sort of PowerPoint, so he could have skipped to the slides that corresponded with the item chosen.

Ah ok, I can see how that would work now. Hmm. I thought there was something a bit off with him in general really although I'm probably just not very nice and extremely cynical Blush I hate the whole sob story element though- mark my words that every golden buzzer will have one.

Mightymucks · 16/04/2018 14:40

I think a lot of it is suggestion as well. He says ‘I’m not doing any sleight of hand’ with the cards or ‘This book has 600 pages’ and people believe it. In reality he’s swapped the pack of cards for one where they’re all the same and the book is the same page repeated.

I can see how some of this would work, but what about the Rubix cube? He couldn't have had all the thousands of variations of random patterns on a PowerPoint to be able to match up with the one that was produced Confused

Mightymucks · 16/04/2018 19:14

He put it into a little box. I suspect the box took a pic of the rubix cube as he put it in and that was pasted on top of the pic of the baby.
