Just watcher Borderliner, subtitled, on Netflix and really enjoyed it.

Police drama set in Scandinavia about a police detective, murder, corruption and family.

Only one series so far but worth a look.

Another vote for Before we Die and Arctic Murders. If you fancy something a bit different try Sr. Avila about a hitman leading a double life. Wacky and pretty gory but good.

The tunnel was just an English language remake of the Bridge wasn't it? I avoided it as I liked the original and I thought it would piss me off as a poor copy.

Love scandi thrillers. Can't wait for the next under the surface.

If you want a break from crime thrillers I really enjoyed 1992 and the follow up series 1993 which are Italian dramas with English subtitles about the politics and corruption before Berlusconi came to power. Think they were on Sky Atlantic but may be available elsewhere. Also Deutchland was a good one on Channel 4 not so long ago.

Someone recommended Happy Valley to me and I wasn’t keen as I really like the whole scandi dark subtitled type thing. But I have to admit, it’s brilliant. Binged the first two series and was pleased to read they’re doing a third series later this year.

Border Town on Netflix is a brilliant Finnish drama.
